On Wednesday, March 18, Marist School marked both the beginning of Term 3 and the transition to virtual learning. In response to the global pandemic COVID-19 and with just a 72-hour notice, pletely shifted academic learning online, calling on faculty, staff, and students to begin a learning journey they had never previously undertaken.
I want to acknowledge the unique circumstances in which we will be celebrating Holy Week. Recall that the Hebrews were confined to their 久游棋牌s where they celebrated the first Passover meal before leaving Egypt. Like them, we are committed to staying 久游棋牌 as we wait for the coronavirus disease to have spent itself, allowing us to reclaim some normalcy. Admittedly, that will have to be redefined in light of this experience.
The Marist Alumni Association recently announced the 久游棋牌 Alumni Award recipients, recognizing three extraordinary individuals, Sean P. McVay ’04, James B. Roberts ’99, and Kenneth C. Brinson, Jr. ’15, for their exceptional service to Marist School and to the community. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the award recipients will be honored at a luncheon event at a later date.
